    Go to Lake Lamar if you want to go to a nice lake. A pleasant spree to Copper Basin is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and Comfort Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest. Through the warm days of summer at Lake Lamar temperatures are generally in the 80's, and the night is a tad colder of course, typically in the 60's. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 40's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Lake Lamar tend to be in the 20's.  
   Lake Lamar gets a great deal of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. On a brilliant day at Lake Lamar you can take a hike along the Dry Pond Lead Trail, and naturally, this is a delightful vicinity for people who like lakes, City Services Rention Pond is a lake close by. So much cool stuff to do at Lake Lamar, so little time.
 
               If you would like a little side journey, try Robinson Gap. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Lamar has to offer, you can camp at Coker Creek Village. Lake Lamar is located in the Great Smoky Mountains.
And that's not all you can do here in the Great Smoky Mountains. One of the major marks of the surroundings of Lake Lamar is Jarnigan Mountain. So many amusing things in the Great Smoky Mountains, just fantastic. Take a little spree to Belcher Creek if you're here at Lake Lamar; enjoy a round of golf at Copper Basin Golf Club. You don’t have to go far from Lake Lamar to distinguish the water at Campbell Cove Dam, and going for a hike along the Rock Creek Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
This place is peerless, just check out all the entertaining stuff to do close to Lake Lamar. No need to travel far to go to exciting stuff like Horseshoe Bend, and if the weather is wonderful, you can go for a hike along the Smith Mountain Trail. Stay the night at Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals; almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Campbell Cove Lake is just a very short distance away. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in the Great Smoky Mountains. Here at Lake Lamar you'll possibly meet some folks from Cleveland; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Hiwassee River.
This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Blue Ridge - Days Inn is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Wolf Creek offers some great whitewater.
