    If you are in this part of Tennessee make sure to pay a visit to Lake Lamar. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Great Smoky Mountains. If you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wolf Creek, and there are plenty of folks from Cleveland here. Lake Lamar sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October on the other  
   hand is the driest. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things close to Lake Lamar. Hiwassee River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Copper Basin Golf Club is a golf course close by.
This location, the Great Smoky Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Hiking along the Rock Creek Trail is nice fun, and naturally, A spree to Robinson Gap is always fun. Do take a look at Campbell Cove Lake in close proximity to Lake Lamar,
 
               it's a beautiful lake, and going for a hike along the Smith Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. So many exciting things to do in the Great Smoky Mountains, not enough time. Camping is available at Coker Creek Village.
The Great Smoky Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Belcher Creek is a striking stream that is worth going to, and Horseshoe Bend is an out of the ordinary thing to see if you're here. London Mills Tailings Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a magnificent choice.
Camping at Cuddle Up Cabin Rentals is always a good experience, and Blue Ridge - Days Inn is a great place to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Lake Lamar arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lake Lamar. You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. At Campbell Cove Dam close to Lake Lamar there are some out of the ordinary things to see; the peak of Jarnigan Mountain can be seen from Lake Lamar.
This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to stop at Copper Basin if you're here at Lake Lamar, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Dry Pond Lead Trail.
