Do pop by Grundy Lake Number Four close to Lake Echo, it's a gorgeous lake. Much precipitation falls at Lake Echo; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is June. This lake is so wonderful. If time allows, Russell Cave National Monument is a national park worth stopping       at, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little Fiery Gizzard Creek. A great close by hotel is Best Western Smokehouse Lodge; why not camp at Laurel Trails Campground while you're here at Lake Echo. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Lake Echo Dam, and why not a little side trip to Copper Branch. No need to travel far to visit attention-grabbing stuff like Black Bottom, and hiking is a popular thing to                  do around Lake Echo; Winding Stairs is a magnificent local trail. And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do close to Lake Echo. Grundy Lake Number One is a nearby lake that you could explore, and South Cumberland RV Park is a glorious local campground. During the long summer days highs here at Lake Echo get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Echo.
