During the months of summer at Lake Echo temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's with temperatures at Lake Echo dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Near Lake Echo you locate Brown Hollow which is a good place to take a look at; why not camp at Laurel       Trails Campground while you're here at Lake Echo. The high level of precipitation makes Lake Echo a quite wet site; March is the month that gets the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail close to Lake Echo called the River Mont Cave Historical Trail, and South Cumberland RV Park is a splendid local campground. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Smokehouse Lodge, and nearby you find the                  Winding Stairs which is a perfect hiking trail. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Lake Echo. Black Bottom is a delightful place to stop at while in the area; a quick tour to Copper Branch is positively a nice idea. Get your heart pumping on the glorious whitewater of Little Fiery Gizzard Creek, and do pop by Lake Echo Dam if you're here. After a long day outdoors Monteagle-Days Inn is a great site to spend a night or two; a delightful spot for whitewater paddling is Big Fiery Gizzard Creek. Looking for a great journey?
