Brown Hollow is in close proximity to Lake Echo and is without doubt a glorious place to stop by, and Lake Echo Dam has perfect water scenery. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do near Lake Echo. Black Bottom is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at Lake Echo, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Fiery Gizzard Creek. All through the summer months, highs regularly are in the 80's at Lake Echo while       night lows are usually in the 60's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Lake Echo. This lake is so wonderful. There's some flowing water nearby, Copper Branch is a stream you can check out while here; needless to say, all our national parks are great places to visit and Russell Cave National Monument is no exception. On a great day at Lake Echo you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs. Lakes are magnificent;                  Grundy Lake Number Four is a lake that's next to Lake Echo. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Smokehouse Lodge, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Laurel Trails Campground is always a wonderful experience; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to close by Grundy Lake Number One. Monteagle-Days Inn is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and a wonderful site to camp here at Lake Echo is South Cumberland RV Park. Float down the rapids of Little Fiery Gizzard Creek in a kayak.
