That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Lake Comfort has it all. Cupp Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Lake Comfort, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Athens is a splendid place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Lake Comfort that you need to camp here for a while, Athens I-75 Campground is a wonderful place for that, and Travelodge       Athens TN is a delightful spot to get some rest. Have a glorious hiking adventure along the Iven Trail, and Clearwater Spring is a great local attraction. Lake Comfort is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Over-Niter RV Park is a wonderful local campground, and it's a tremendous idea to check out Clearwater Branch. If you come at the right time of year, Gee Creek offers some magnificent whitewater; do take a hike on the Fooshee Pass Trail.                  Going for a hike along the Starr Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a round of golf at nearby Willow Springs Golf Course is a brilliant way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. People from Athens love to come to Lake Comfort; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Piney Creek. Summertime at Lake Comfort comes with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake Comfort are in the 20's.
