The high level of precipitation makes Lake Cheston a pretty wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and August is when it's the driest. Get your heart pumping on the nice whitewater of Little Fiery Gizzard Creek; great hiking is available along the Winding Stairs. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Lake Cheston. A great spot for whitewater       paddling near Lake Cheston is Big Fiery Gizzard Creek, and a good place like Sewanee Plateau here at Lake Cheston is too wonderful to miss. A lovely lake like Lake O'Donnell close to Lake Cheston is a good place to have a look at; if you're here, do take a visit to Cherry Point. Do have a look at Athletic Field Lake close to Lake Cheston, it's a wonderful lake, and it's a wonderful idea to take a look at Pinckney Branch. There's magnificent hiking along                  the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. Be careful coming to Lake Cheston, you might not ever wanna return home again. Cedar Hollow is right next door to Lake Cheston and is a fine spot; at Cheston Dam right next door to Lake Cheston there are some interesting things to see. Throughout the summertime months at Lake Cheston temperatures are usually in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lake Cheston. Here at Lake Cheston you'll possibly meet some folks from Tullahoma It's always fine to pop by Cherry Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Monteagle-Days Inn. There's so much to do here at Lake Cheston that you need to camp here for a while, Laurel Trails Campground is a good location for that. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Cheston has to offer, you can camp at South Cumberland RV Park, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a delightful location to spend a night or two.
