Lad Lake is a nice lake to visit. Man, is there a heap of exciting stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. A great close by hotel is Knights Inn Crossville; you can stay the night at Crossville Holiday Trav-l-Park. Lad Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much cool stuff to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too great to be true.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Very good water scenery is available at Lad Lake Dam in close proximity to Lad Lake, and Roam and Roost RV Campground is a tremendous campground here. Near Lad Lake you discover a golf course called Mountain Ridge Golf Club, and swing by Adkins Branch it's a pleasant spot to stop by.
