You'll meet a lot of people from La Follette here; Comfort Inn Pioneer is a perfect spot to get some rest. La Follette Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. If you want a splendid time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Have a good hiking adventure along the Deer Trail, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Caryville. High temperatures       at La Follette Reservoir during the summer months are in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 40's with temperatures at La Follette Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. There are other spots here than La Follette Reservoir, for example Eblen-Powell Number One Reservoir; hey, Bear Wallow Branch is a splendid local stream. This lake is so wonderful.                  La Follette Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Powell Valley Resort is a good local campground; you might also want to pay a visit to Big Creek Gap if you're here at La Follette Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. These mountains rock, just explore all the fun things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Why not check out Eblen-Powell Number One Dam while you're here, and drift down the rapids of Cumberland River - Clear Fork in a kayak.
