On a wonderful day you get a sight of Eagle Bluff from La Follette Reservoir, and camping at Shanghai Resort is always a nice experience. At La Follette Reservoir all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs       in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for La Follette Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. A spree to La Follette Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Eagle Bluff Springs, and there's some exciting stuff to catch a sight of at Eblen-Powell Number Two Dam close to La Follette Reservoir. Grandma Hollow is a great location to look at, and there's some flowing water close by, Bear Wallow Branch is a stream you can take a look at while                  you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Near La Follette Reservoir you come across the Deer Trail which is a good hiking trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cumberland River - Clear Fork. Super 8 Motel - Caryville is a glorious site to get some rest, and if you've had enough of La Follette Reservoir, Cove Lake is nearby. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. People from La Follette love to come to La Follette Reservoir, and the River Bluff Trail is a great hiking trail close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes La Follette Reservoir a wet site; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain while October is regularly the driest month.
