Beautiful Kirkstone Lake has much to offer visitors. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Daddy's Creek, and lots of folks from Crossville come here. Man, is there a heap of cool things to do close to Kirkstone Lake. Bean Pot Holiday Trav-l-park is a fine local campground, and a magnificent close by hotel is Fairfield Glade Resort. Why not camp at Deer Run RV Resort while you're here at Kirkstone Lake,

Kirkstone Lake is a wet site that gets much rain; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Lake Pomeroy, and hiking along the Fooshee Pass Trail is good fun. This lake is so wonderful. A trip to Obed Wild & Scenic River is recommended.
