Why not stop by Kinser Pond if you're passing through these parts. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Kinser Pond. There's tremendous hiking along the Iven Trail, and the vista of delightful Roy Knob is tremendous. You're sure to stumble upon some smiling people from Athens here. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Kinser Pond has to offer, you can camp at Tennessee Country Campground. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Econo Lodge Sweetwater is a great location to get some rest, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Kinser Pond; Starr Mountain Trail is a splendid local trail.
High temperatures at Kinser Pond all through the months of summer are in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. whitewater of Tellico River, and an afternoon playing golf at Madisonville Golf Course is always a bliss. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn West, and you can stay the night at Sweetwater Valley Koa.
This lake is so wonderful.
You can run the rapids of Gee Creek close to Kinser Pond. Kile Springs is always fun to check out, and why not stop by nearby Dancing Branch while you're here at Kinser Pond. Kinser Pond gets a good deal of water; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and the driest month of the year is October.
