Tellico River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by; why not take a refreshing hike along the Starr Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. From Kinser Pond you       obtain a fine view of Roy Knob; whitewater paddling is good on Gee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Town & Country Motel is a great location to spend a night or two; do put some time aside to spend at Kile Springs since you're here at Kinser Pond. This place, Kinser Pond, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. If you're a golfer then a good close by course is Madisonville Golf Course, and if you came to camp Knights                  Inn is a pleasant place to do that. A good deal of rainfall falls at Kinser Pond; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with the least moisture. There's so much to do here at Kinser Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sweetwater Valley Koa is a good spot for that; you'll stumble on a charming lake called Craighead Lake. Throughout the summertime highs here at Kinser Pond get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's.
