Dam. Be careful coming to Kingsport Reservoir, you might not ever want to go home again. Near Kingsport Reservoir you locate a golf course called Silver Lake Golf Club, and a brilliant spot to camp here at Kingsport Reservoir
is Bristol-Kingsport KOA. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites KINGSPORT-MEADOWVIEW I-181, and Kingsport Reservoir is right next door to Dolan Gap which is certainly worth visiting.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is pleasant on Big Moccasin Creek, and camping is available at Bristol-kingsport Koa Kampground. Kingsport Reservoir is not the only location close by, Bays Mountain Reservoir is a close by lake, and paddling on Stock Creek is so much fun.
