King Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the wettest month       of the year is typically May, that's the one that rains the most; August is when it's the driest. During the summertime months at King Lake temperatures are typically in the 90's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for King Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything King Lake has to offer, you                  can camp at Chickasaw State Park, and you can go for a hike on the Forked Pine Nature Trail.
