The high level of rainfall makes King Lake a rather wet location; during May this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is August. King Lake is not far at all from Jackson, and don't leave King Lake without first going for a hike along the Fern Loop Nature Trail. Summer at King Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings       highs down to the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at King Lake plunge into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. King Dam is not far at all from King Lake, and there's great hiking along the Lakeshore Nature Trail. A magnificent location to camp here at King Lake is Chickasaw State Park, and if you need a spot to stay Airways Motel is a good choice. Americana Inn is a glorious location to get some rest. Lakes? Sure, Ben Henry                  Lake is in close proximity. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
