Jones Pond is a nice lake to visit. Jones Pond sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Camping is available at Cherokee Lake Camp Grounds; hiking along the Daniel Boone Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so wonderful. | | River. For the duration of the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Jones Pond, and the night is quite colder of course, generally in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Jones Pond.
