But wait, there's more amusing things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. After a long day outdoors Big South Fork Motor Lodge is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and Bole Branch is next to Jamestown Reservoir and is always a bliss to visit. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Near Jamestown Reservoir you stumble on the Lake Bluff Trail which is a delightful hiking trail,       and Jamestown Reservoir is a splendid site to camp, Big South Fork National River is a splendid site. There is a great hiking trail near Jamestown Reservoir called the Lake View Trail, and Mountain View Golf Course is a brilliant place to get some rest. And that's not all you can do here at Jamestown Reservoir. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Clear Fork - North Prong, and Wesleyan Campground is a great campground here. Summertime brings highs in                  the 80's to Jamestown Reservoir. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's while Jamestown Reservoir night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. If you come at the right time of year, Clear Fork offers some brilliant whitewater; Coal Bank Hollow is nearby, and is a good spot. Jamestown Reservoir mostly gets a lot of rainfall; through December this area sees the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. Jamestown Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
