Gizzard Creek in a kayak. While you're here at Jackson Lake you can take a hike along the Winding Stairs, and paddling on Little Fiery Gizzard Creek is so much fun.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not explore Kirby Smith Point
also since you're here; a delightful nearby hotel is Smoke House Restaurant. The high level of precipitation makes Jackson Lake a reasonably wet place; most of the rain falls through March, and August meanwhile is the driest month.
You feel that's enough? Just getting warmed up. On a glorious day at Jackson Lake you can take a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a tremendous choice.
A trip to Russell Cave National Monument is recommended, and since you're here why not check out Shakerag Hollow. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things in close proximity to Jackson Lake. Cape of Good Hope can be made out from Jackson Lake.
