Camping is available at Ballyhoo Family Campground,       and during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Crossville for sure. That right there is a heap of exciting things already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. A glorious place to camp here at J C Gant Lake is Mountain Glen RV Park, and the view of pretty Nussom Knob is fine. J C Gant Lake ordinarily gets much precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is October. Be careful coming                  to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Looking for something close to J C Gant Lake? Hugh Clayborne Lake is around here, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Dayton is a good choice. That right there is loads already, but it carries on; J C Gant Lake has it all. Get drenched paddling on Daddy's Creek, and J C Gant Lake is not the only place nearby, Beecher Smith Lake is a nearby lake. Paddling on Bee Creek is so much fun, and the Laurel-Snow Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Rankins Cove is a magnificent site to spend some time at.
