A visit to J C Gant Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Daddy's Creek close to J C Gant Lake, and Mountain Glen RV Park is a glorious local campground. For the period of the warm days of summer at J C Gant Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, typically in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight
