The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Clifty Creek. So many amusing things in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, just incredible. And that's not everything you can do here in the       Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Here at Hood Lake there are plenty of people from Crossville, and do check out Downing Creek Reservoir, it's a beautiful lake. Hood Lake generally gets a great deal of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is typically the driest month.
