After a long day outdoors Days Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and Cobb Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Holt Lake has to offer, you can camp at Joy-o RV Park; this is a popular place for folks from Brownsville. You can take a little journey to Holt Dam while you're here at Holt Lake.

| | high level of rain makes Holt Lake a pretty wet place; December is the month that gets the most rain, and August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Brownsville-Days Inn. There's so much to do here at Holt Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Joyners Campground is a tremendous location for that. Summertime highs at Holt Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. | |
