This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Turkey Creek, and if you've had enough of Holland Pond, Duncan Lake is nearby. Jameson Inn Decherd is a delightful site to get some rest; a short journey to Woods Spring is always worthwhile. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Holland Pond rocks! Nearby lakes? Sure, Lye Pond is in the neighborhood       of Holland Pond, and Manchester Koa Kampground is a magnificent local campground. If you came for an overnight stay Fairview/Devils Step Campground is a perfect place to camp, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Tullahoma for sure. During the summer highs here at Holland Pond reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Holland Pond.                  The high level of rainfall makes Holland Pond a rather wet place; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that rains the most, and August is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Best Western Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and there's tremendous hiking along the Winding Stairs. This lake is so wonderful.
