There's so much to do here at Hogan Pond that you need to camp here for a while, McMillian Catfish Farms Owned by Ryan and Pamela Crick is a nice location for that. Looking for some flowing water? Try Furness Branch; nearby you stumble on the Tweed Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. If you get       bored of Hogan Pond, you could also stop at nearby Combs Pond, and Cochran Bend is an out of the ordinary spot to visit while at Hogan Pond. If you need a location to stay Best Western Executive Inn is a great choice; folks from Greeneville love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. Greeneville/Bulls Gap Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest. For the period of the summer at Hogan Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's; the nighttime is quite                  chillier of course, mostly in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hogan Pond temperatures plunge to the 20's. A lake nearby is Birdwell Pond; the Meadow Creek Mountain Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. And if that's not sufficient, there's plenty more to do close to Hogan Pond. A good location right next door to Hogan Pond is Browns Shoals, and Hogan Pond is great enough to spend more than a day at, Banks Farms Campground is a great local campground.
