Stay the night at Kodak Koa Kampground, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Cove Creek. People from Sevierville love to come to Hodges Lake, and there are perfect places to explore along the Bunches Trace. This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Fairfield Inn & Suites Sevierville Kodak. There's so much to do here at Hodges Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Smoky Mountain Campground is       a pleasant place for that. Playing golf is lots of fun at Lost Creek Golf Club, and Byerley Bend is an out of the ordinary place to stop by while at Hodges Lake. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Hodges Lake. In the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Pigeon River - West Prong, and it's a good idea to visit Beaver Creek. Summer at Hodges Lake                  arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while overnight lows are mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 40's; overnight lows at Hodges Lake throughout the winter regularly plunge into the 20's. Lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Cates Pond right next door to Hodges Lake, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are glorious places to stop at and Great Smoky Mountains National Park is no exception. Hodges Lake is a wet site that gets lots of precipitation; through the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is September. This lake is so wonderful.
