Drift down the rapids of Big Fiery Gizzard Creek in a kayak, and you're probably into lakes, Plainview Lake is one of those nearby. Lakes are great; Littell Number One Lake is a lake that's near Hines Pond, and of course Little Fiery Gizzard Creek flows through this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Little Fiery Gizzard Creek is so much fun,       and Hines Pond is right by the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. Stay the night at Laurel Trails Campground; a great sight of gorgeous East Ramsey is available. Russell Cave National Monument is one of the destinations right next door to Hines Pond that are perfect to go to. There's so much to do here at Hines Pond that you need to camp here for a while, South Cumberland RV Park is a glorious location for that, and Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a wonderful                  site to get some rest. The high level of rainfall makes Hines Pond a pretty wet site; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and June meanwhile is the driest month. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Hines Pond. A forest close to Hines Pond is Grundy State Forest; if you need a spot to stay Monteagle-Days Inn is a brilliant choice. Do visit Plainview Dam if you're here at Hines Pond, and hiking along the Winding Stairs is magnificent fun. At Hines Pond during the warm months highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's.
