Hill Lake is one of the lakes here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. So many exciting things to do here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, too good to be true. If you get bored of Hill Lake, you could also pop by nearby Dayton Reservoir, and Scottish Inns & Suites Dayton is a pleasant location to get some rest. Man, is there lots of enjoyable stuff to do in the Cumberland Plateau       Mountains. Why not camp at Blue water Campground since you're here at Hill Lake; Hill Lake is not the only site close by, T Industries Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Cotton Port Marina and Campground is a nice place to camp, and why not go to Lake Hill Dam if you're here. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Hill Lake. You can run the rapids of Richland Creek near Hill                  Lake; why not take a look at close by Little Richland Creek if you're here at Hill Lake. All through the days of summer highs here at Hill Lake reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Hill Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling close to Hill Lake is Morgan Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Hill Lake; Laurel-Snow Trail is a great local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Fooshee Pass Trail, and Crow Hollow is in close proximity, and is a tremendous place. Hill Lake gets lots of water; March is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is October.
