It's a good idea to visit Bridal Veil Creek, it's next to Highlander Pond; Bridal Veil Falls is an inspiring place to visit while here. Best Western Smokehouse Lodge is a great spot to get some rest, and not far from Highlander Pond you'll hit upon Duck Pond which is a pretty lake. So many entertaining things in the vicinity of Highlander Pond, completely extraordinary. The Hurricane       is a pleasant place to spend some time at. During the days of summer here at Highlander Pond, high temperatures typically reach the 80's while night lows are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Highlander Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Highlander Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Laurel Trails Campground is a great site for that, and going for a hike on                  the Winding Stairs is always a brilliant adventure. Paddling on Big Fiery Gizzard Creek is so much fun; you'll most likely meet some folks from Tullahoma here. Highlander Pond is a wet spot that gets much precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. A good close by hotel is Monteagle-Days Inn, and Little Fiery Gizzard Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. Go for a hike on the River Mont Cave Historical Trail, and Forrest Point is very near and is a good spot to stop at. Highlander Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, South Cumberland RV Park is a brilliant local campground, and do have a look at Highlander Pond Dam if you're here. Having a good time at Highlander Pond is easy.
