If you need a place to stay Super 8 Crossville, TN is a nice choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Daddy's Creek. Having a good time in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains is painless. You'll meet a lot of folks from Crossville here; Bear Trace Golf Course is a golf course       nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Ballyhoo Family Campground is a nice spot to do that; if you're here, you could stop by Cottrell Branch. For the period of the long summer days here at Hiawawtha Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Hiawawtha Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Near Hiawawtha                  Lake you discover the Laurel-Snow Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and a delightful lake like Dorton Lake is a great location to go to. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Not far from Hiawawtha Lake you acquire some glorious water scenery at Byrd Creek Dam; camping at Crossville Koa Kampground is always a good experience. Hiawawtha Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of rain; most of the rain falls during March, and October is when it's the driest.
