Hiawawtha Lake is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Summertime at Hiawawtha Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Hiawawtha Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Daddy's Creek, and since you're here       you can play some golf at Bear Trace Golf Course. Hiawawtha Lake is a spot with many visitors from Crossville, and getting to Cottrell Branch from Hiawawtha Lake is painless. A great location to camp here at Hiawawtha Lake is Crossville Koa Kampground, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel Crossville Tn. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at Hiawawtha Lake. While you're here at Hiawawtha Lake, you could also stop                  by scenic Byrd Creek Reservoir, and Byrd Creek Dam has good water scenery. Hiawawtha Lake is a wet place that gets much rain; March is the wettest month with most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains will keep you coming back many times. Byrd Creek Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Crossville is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
