If you like lakes and you're in this part of Tennessee you can check out Halls Mill Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Baker Bluff is right next door to Halls Mill Pond, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Big Moccasin Creek. it all. If you get bored of Halls Mill Pond, you could also explore close by Boone Lake, and there's good hiking along the Pinnacle Tower Trail. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Kingsport/I-81 is a great site to spend a night
or two, and a lake nearby is Fort Patrick Henry Lake. Take a little trip to Brown Creek since you're here at Halls Mill Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn South. There's so much to do here at Halls Mill Pond that
you need to camp here for a while, Warrior's Path State Park is a wonderful location for that, and the California Trail offers hiking at its best. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. All the water
falling down from the sky makes Halls Mill Pond a wet spot; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Crockett's Ridge Golf Club is always a joy, and you'll perhaps meet some folks from Kingsport-Bristol here.
