Gum Pond is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is September. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Pigeon River - Middle Prong; Morristown TN is a great place to get some rest. So many enjoyable things to do here at Gum Pond, too great to be true. Camping                  at Lake Cove Resort is always a tremendous experience, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Millstone Golf Club is close by. Through the long summer days at Gum Pond temperatures are typically in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
