A pretty lake like Grundy Lake Number Two near Grundy Lake Number One is a fine location to go to. There's so much to do here at Grundy Lake Number One that you need to camp here for a while, Laurel Trails Campground is a great location for that. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Winding Stairs. During the summer at Grundy Lake Number One temperatures are regularly in the 80's while nighttime lows       are ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and night lows at Grundy Lake Number One through the winter usually drop into the 20's. If time allows, Russell Cave National Monument is a national park worth visiting, and if you came to camp South Cumberland RV Park is a delightful spot to do that. And that's not all you can do here at Grundy Lake Number One. A tour to Cannon Hollow is always fun, and there's whitewater on Little Fiery                  Gizzard Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Best Western Smokehouse Lodge, and Copper Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth going to. Do go to Lake Echo right next door to Grundy Lake Number One, it's a delightful lake; Grundy Lake Number One Dam is a striking spot. If you need a location to stay Monteagle-Days Inn is a good choice; do take a hike on the River Mont Cave Historical Trail. Grundy Lake Number One frequently gets a great deal of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain; June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
