You just ought to go for Greer Lake. Near Greer Lake you locate the Bunches Trace which is a fine hiking trail; Holiday Inn Express Middlesboro, Ky is a nice spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a       hike on the Ridge Trail is always a good adventure, and if you get bored of Greer Lake you could also check out close by Arthur Lake. At Greer Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's; the night is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Greer Lake temperatures fall to the 20's. Greer Lake is located in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.                  Much rainfall falls at Greer Lake; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
