Goose Pond is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is frequently March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is October. Sure, Duck Pond is close by, and hiking along       the Winding Stairs is great fun. Don't leave Goose Pond without first paying a visit to Gilliam Springs; Manchester Koa Kampground is a nice campground here. Since you're here at Goose Pond why not visit Bell Cove; get yourself into a kayak and hit Little Fiery Gizzard Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Goose Pond is not far at all from Tullahoma; going for a hike along the River Mont Cave Historical Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.                  Summertime at Goose Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's.
