Glastowbury Lake is always a pleasure to visit. So many cool things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, not enough time. Glastowbury Lake Dam is a place that is close to Glastowbury Lake; the Fooshee Pass Trail is a good hiking trail close by. What a place this is for outdoors people. Black Gum Branch is a nice place to explore, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Crossville Tn. If time allows, Obed Wild & Scenic River is a

| | national park worth a visit, and not far from Glastowbury Lake you'll discover Lake Pomeroy which is a gorgeous lake.
This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Stonehenge Golf Club is in close proximity, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Glade Resort is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Daddy's Creek. | |

You'll need more than a day to discover everything Glastowbury Lake has to offer, you can camp at Deer Run RV Resort. For the period of the warm days of summer at Glastowbury Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's, and through
the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Glastowbury Lake temperatures plunge to the 20's.
This place, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, has so much

Glastowbury Lake is a reasonably wet place regularly with a lot of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is October.
