Don't leave Gin Pond without first going for a hike along the Buffalo Trail, and Cypress Pond is a splendid lake close by. Stay the night at Driftwood Shores Campground; if you're here, you might as well stop by Chadwick Hollow. There's so much to do here at Gin Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Sugar Creek Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and if you need a spot to       stay Dixieland Country Cabins is a magnificent choice. This lake is so wonderful. Hurricane Creek is a pleasant place to take a look at; after a long day outdoors Three Cedars Motel is a nice place to spend a night or two. Gin Pond is a pretty wet place typically with lots of precipitation; most of the rain falls during December; October meanwhile is the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Gin Pond. Once the sun is down it descends down to                  the 60's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Gin Pond dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights.
