This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous place for whitewater paddling near Gene Rogers Lake is Clear Fork - North Prong. Through the months of summer here at Gene Rogers Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. There's no way anyone can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Gene Rogers Lake is pleasant
enough to spend more than a day at, Deer Run RV Resort is a pleasant local campground; there are plenty of people from Crossville here. This lake is so wonderful. Bice Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth checking
out, and Obed Wild & Scenic River is a wonderful national park. This spot rocks, just check out all the fun stuff to do right next door to Gene Rogers Lake. Camping at Bean Pot Holiday Trav-l-park is always a splendid experience,
and not far from Gene Rogers Lake you obtain some brilliant water scenery at Gene Rogers Dam.
Gene Rogers Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during March this area sees the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
