After a long day outdoors Best Western Mckenzie is a good location to spend a night or two, and camping at Jackson Mobile Village and RV Park is always a great experience. Capps Branch is near Garrett Lake and is always a joy       to take a look at; Thompson Creek Dam Four has delightful water scenery. Garrett Lake gets a great deal of water; most of the rain falls during December, and the driest of the months is August. For the duration of the long summer days highs here at Garrett Lake get into the 80's while overnight lows are usually in the 60's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 40's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Garrett Lake temperatures sink to the                  20's. This is a good region for folks who like lakes.
