This is no spot for people who don’t like to                  enjoy themselves. An afternoon playing golf at Crockett's Ridge Golf Club is always a diversion; the Patty Ridge Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close by. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Fort Patrick Henry Lake highs are commonly in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
