    Five Coves Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Five Coves Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Five Coves Lake. Five Coves Lake gets a good deal of water; March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Having a great time at Five  
   Coves Lake is painless. Cedar Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at, and Countryside Resort is a pleasant campground nearby.
If you came for an overnight stay Hermitage Landing is a good location to camp, and while you're here, you could also have a look at charming Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. During your journey to Five Coves Lake you'll meet some folks from Nashville-Davidson—Murfreesboro for sure, and get yourself into a
 
               kayak and hit Bledsoe Creek. Do pop by L A Green Lake in the neighborhood of Five Coves Lake, it's a scenic lake.

Small, well kept campground that is privately owned and operated. Owners on site most of the time. During the season there is free live entertainment two or three nights a weeks. Always free coffee in the office for visitors. Front desk staff is friendly and can help you plan your stay in Nasvhille. Tours and show tickets available at the front desk as well.

Lesters Lake is no longer there. It was drained years ago after a girl was killed swimming there when she swam into an area inhabited by cottonmouth snakes and was bitten several times....Do you remember swimming at Lesters Lake...1970...?...

Bledsoe creek was a real let down. The only time to go to this is if there has been atleast one inch of rain the previous day before you go. When we got there it was a dried up creek bed so there was no rafting for us that day; we just had to settle on practicing our rolls....
