Going for a hike along the Fooshee Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Harriman for sure. The high level of rainfall makes Edgemon Lake a relatively wet location; the wettest month of the year is generally March, that's the one that rains the most, and October is the month with       the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is good on Piney Creek, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sweetwater. During the summer months here at Edgemon Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's with temperatures at Edgemon Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on White's Creek is so much fun,                  and Quality Inn & Suites is a brilliant spot to get some rest. Camping is available at Lakeview Mobile Home Park; Dodd Hollow is in the neighborhood, and is a nice place. Visiting Obed Wild & Scenic River is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and why not camp at Campground On The Lakeshore if you're here at Edgemon Lake.
