     Dyer Lake is a nice lake to visit. The scenery at Dyer Lake Dam next to Dyer Lake is pretty, and camping at Mansard Island Resort and Marina is always a wonderful experience. At Dyer Lake you always meet someone from Paris; Dyer Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Britton Ford Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are great; Robertson Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Dyer Lake, and there is a great  
   hiking trail nearby called the Buffalo Trail.
Best Western Home Place Inn is a good place to get some rest, and Hope Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Dyer Lake. If you need a location to stay Country Hearth Inn Camden is a splendid choice, and close to Dyer Lake you stumble on a golf course called Tennessean Golf Club. Nearby McSwain Hollow is a great site to go
 
               if you're at Dyer Lake, and naturally, this is a tremendous region for folks who like lakes, Farmer Pond is a lake nearby.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Dyer Lake a wet place; throughout the month of December you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. Summer at Dyer Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Dyer Lake tend to be in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.

Mansard Island Resort and Marina
We had our family reunion at Mansard Island Resort and Marina in June 2008 .The owners and staff are so nice and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful.? The swimming pool was sparkling clean. The living quarters were dark and smelly and not very clean.? We also had no water preasure and sometimes no water or just a trickle.? Other than that, I had a great time....
