Hiking along the Forked Pine Nature Trail is nice fun, and camping is available at Chickasaw State Park. A great deal of rain falls at Duncan Lake; December is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. During the summertime months highs here at Duncan Lake reach the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the       wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Duncan Lake dip into the 20's. If the weather is brilliant here at Duncan Lake, you can go for a hike along the Fern Loop Nature Trail, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Collier Lake. You'll meet a lot of people from Jackson here, and a delightful place to camp here at Duncan Lake is Parkway Village Mobile Home. There's just no way someone                  can get bored here at Duncan Lake. Going for a hike along the Lakeshore Nature Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and some of the water nearby flows, like Harris Creek. Duncan Lake Dam is a site that is near Duncan Lake, and Jackson Howard Johnson Express Inn is a great location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
