Double Basin is a magnificent site to camp, Joyners Campground is a magnificent site, and if you need a place to stay Walker's Motor Court is a splendid choice. Double Basin is not the only location close by, Cogshell Lake is a close by lake, and dry warm beds await you at Countryside Inn. The high level of precipitation makes Double Basin a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is March; October is when it's the       driest. Throughout the summer highs here at Double Basin reach the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 70's. Highs through the winter are ordinarily in the 40's while Double Basin nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
