All the water falling down from the sky makes Doe Creek Lake a wet place; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is October. This is a popular site for folks from Crossville, and camping at Spring Valley RV Park is always a tremendous experience. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.       Doe Creek Lake Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's near Doe Creek Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Caney Fork. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Get soaked paddling on Clifty Creek. This is a wonderful region for people who like lakes. Arrowhead Lake is a lake close by; Cookeville Knights Inn is a wonderful site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Doe Creek Lake is Roam and Roost RV Campground,                  and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Cookeville is a delightful place to spend a night or two. At Doe Creek Lake through the months of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Doe Creek Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
