    Do stop by Dillon Pond while you're in this part of Tennessee. During the summer here at Dillon Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 80's while night lows are generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Dillon Pond drop into the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dillon Pond a wet spot; March is when you get the most rain here,  
   and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flat Creek, and after a long day outdoors Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park is a great spot to spend a night or two.
And that's not all you can do here at Dillon Pond. Deep Valley Park is a great local campground; Super 8 Monterey is a magnificent place to get some rest. Miller Mountain is beautiful
 
               and can be seen from Dillon Pond, and you're probably keen on lakes, Keeton Pond is one of those nearby. Be careful coming to the Cumberland Plateau Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. Obey River - East Fork is a pleasant whitewater spot close to Dillon Pond; why not camp at Deep Valley Recreational Vehicle Park if you're here at Dillon Pond.
During your journey to Dillon Pond you'll meet some folks from Cookevi lle for sure; obviously, this is a tremendous area for people who like lakes, Livingston City Lake is a lake in the vicinity. That right there is a heap of cool stuff already but it goes on, the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has it all. Dillon Pond is a beautiful lake in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.

... 294 . Follow this road for 6 miles. to the first gas station- theTriple D. There is a large Deep Valley sign which you are welcome to stop & admire. Turn left on Allons-Oakley Rd. Proceed 1 1/4 mile. Turn right at the two very old barns. This is Hunter Cove. Campground is 1 mile on the right. (See note below)

From I-40, Tn. (Less than 2 hours from Nashville or Knoxville)
Exit 288 . North on Rt 111 to Livingston (approx 18 miles) Follow instructions as listed above.

From Indianapolis and points North West
I-65 south to exit 53 Cave City.; Onto SR70 East about 10 miles. Right onto US-31 E (2.5 mi); to KY 90 East Follow KY 90 to Glasgow/ Burkesville Just past Summer Shade, turn south on SR 163 to Tompkinsville, Go about 13 miles.; Turn South (right) on SR 163 . When you enter Tennessee, (approx 9 miles it will be SR 51. In Moss, TN, this will merge into SR 52. Turn left (southeast); towards Celina. Stay on 52 thru Celina,You will be heading towards Livingston, TN. Approx 14 miles south of Celina, Turn left at the Red Barn Lounge onto Palestine Road; Follow direction...
