Throughout the summer months at Deer Pond highs are typically in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are frequently in the 40's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Deer Pond fall into the 20's. Deer Pond is a wet place that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is December while August is the month with the       least amount of precipitation. Holladay Days Inn is a perfect place to get some rest; the sight of Cotham Hill is striking. Have a good hiking adventure along the Largo Trail; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Of Hurricane Mills. Hiking along the Mount Zion Trail is wonderful fun, and Deer Point Campground is a magnificent campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Take a little spree to Beach Creek since you're here at Deer Pond, and Deer Pond is                  a fine place to camp, Crooked Creek Campground is a fine place.
