After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns & Suites Dayton is a brilliant site to spend a night or two; whitewater paddling is perfect on Richland Creek. At Dayton Reservoir all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, frequently in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Dayton Reservoir dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the Cumberland Plateau Mountains has to offer. North Pole Gulf is a magnificent place to explore close by; Best Western Dayton is a glorious spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
