    What a nice lake Davy Crockett Lake is. Why not visit Nolichucky Dam while you're here, and hey, Cedar Creek is a magnificent local stream. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Davy Crockett Lake and you like golf, you can stop by River Trace Golf Club, and don't leave Davy Crockett Lake without first going for a hike along the Tweed Trail.

   rain; the driest month is October. If you need a site to stay Greeneville-Days Inn is a perfect choice, and a splendid site to visit is Allens Shoals. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Davy Crockett Lake. Dry warm beds await you at General Morgan Inn & Conference Center; whitewater paddling is good on Big Laurel Creek.

               is a great local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Paint Creek Trail. There's so much to do here at Davy Crockett Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Kinser Park is a delightful location for that, and get wet paddling on French Broad. For the duration of the long summer days, highs frequently are in the 80's at Davy Crockett Lake; the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 60's.
