If you are in this part of Tennessee make sure to pay a visit to Davis Lake. Be careful coming to Davis Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. | | whitewater spots on Mullens Creek, and nearby you stumble on the Skyuka Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Through the warm months highs here at Davis Lake get into the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Davis Lake are in the 20's.

called the Lookout Creek Trail. A great spot to camp here at Davis Lake is Raccoon Mountain Campground, and some close by water includes Shelton Creek. This lake is one of the great places here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Man, is there plenty of exciting things to do in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Davis Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Hales Bar Resort and Marina is a great local campground, and if
you're visiting from Chattanooga, you won't be the only one. There's whitewater on Suck Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and a pleasant close by hotel is Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Chattanooga I-24 West.
A large
amount of precipitation falls at Davis Lake; March is when you get the most rain here while June is typically the driest month.
