Do stop by Davis Lake while you're in this part of Tennessee. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Suck Creek is so much fun; Ditch Gap is beyond doubt a wonderful place to have a look at. If you're popping by Davis Lake from Chattanooga, you won't be the only one; hey, Shelton Creek is a magnificent local stream. The Cumberland Plateau Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Lake, you could also take a look at nearby Ketner Cove Lake; whitewater paddling is delightful on Mullens Creek. Just can't get enough of the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. There's so much to do here at Davis Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Raccoon Mountain Campground is a wonderful place for that; Chattanooga-Days Inn Tiftonia/Lookout Mountain is a glorious place to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Davis Lake
has to offer, you can camp at Hales Bar Resort and Marina; dry warm beds await you at Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Chattanooga I-24 West. During the warmest time of the year at Davis Lake highs are regularly in the 80's.
Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are usually in the 40's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Davis Lake fall into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather
is brilliant here at Davis Lake, you can go for a hike along the Skyuka Trail, and a lake nearby is Bennett Lake.
