Why not stop by Davis Lake if you're passing through these parts. Davis Lake gets lots of water; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. What a spot this is for outdoors people. You can run the rapids of Little Soddy Creek close to Davis Lake, and the peak of Butler Knobs can be made out from Davis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. People from Dalton love to come to Davis

A trip to Davis Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Eads Spring; golf can be played at Cherokee Springs Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Davis Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Chattanooga North KOA is a tremendous local campground, and a good nearby hotel is Diplomat Motel.

an exciting thing to pop by next to Davis Lake is Davis Lake Dam. If you came to camp Mc Donald Koa Kampground is a fine place to do that, and as expected Allen Branch is a pretty stream that is worth a visit. Summer at Davis Lake
arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 40's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Davis Lake temperatures drop to the 20's.
