Throughout the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Cypress Pond. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 40's with temperatures at Cypress Pond dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. If you came to camp Sugar Creek Campground is a great location to do that, and if you need a place to stay Dixieland Country Cabins is       a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Blue Pond, and nearby you hit upon Bass Bay. All the water falling down from the sky makes Cypress Pond a wet place; the month with most of the rain is December while October is mostly the driest month. Cane Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth a visit, and after a long day outdoors Three Cedars Motel is a wonderful location to spend a night or two.
