Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the neighborhood of Currey Pond. Glide down the rapids of Deep Creek in a kayak, and the friendly folks of Chattanooga like to hang out nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites OOLTEWAH SPRINGS-CHATTANOOGA is a nice spot to spend a night or two, and you can stay the night at Mc Donald Koa Kampground. Summertime at Currey       Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Currey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail near Currey Pond called the Laurel-Snow Trail, and don't forget to take a great little visit to Norman Branch. A lot of precipitation falls at Currey Pond; March is when you                  get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. Super 8 Motel - Ooltewah/Chattanooga is a splendid spot to get some rest; a lake nearby is Dolly Pond. Get soaked paddling on Little Soddy Creek, and golf can be played at Hampton Creek Golf Club.
