Just getting warmed up. Lakeview Mobile Home Park is a great local campground, and obviously Collins Branch is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at. Cupp Lake regularly gets a good deal of rain; through March this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is October. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go       whitewater paddling on White's Creek, and if you're here, you might as well visit Womac Hollow. You're sure to stumble upon some good folks from Athens here; Campground On The Lakeshore is a glorious campground nearby. Do check out Edgemon Lake close to Cupp Lake, it's a striking lake, and if you need a place to stay Travelodge Athens TN is a tremendous choice. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Piney Creek, and a brilliant nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Athens.                  This lake is so wonderful. During the warmest time of the year here at Cupp Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, frequently in the 60's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 40's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Cupp Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. This lake is so wonderful.
