Beautiful Cummings Lake has much to offer visitors. At Cummings Lake during the warm months highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Cummings Lake. Alex McNabb Branch is a magnificent site to pop by, and a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Middle Creek. Yep, outdoors entertaining stuff to do are truly abundant here at Cummings Lake. So many amusing things next to Cummings Lake, definitely unbelievable. If you're popping by Cummings Lake from Chattanooga, you won't be the only one, and camping at Raccoon Mountain Campground is always a delightful experience. and playing golf is lots of fun at Moccasin Bend Public Golf Club. While you're here at Cummings Lake you can take a hike along the Lookout Creek Trail, and if you wish for a little side journey, try Bill McNabb Gulf. This lake
is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Raccoon Mountain Pumped Station Reservoir, and don't leave Cummings Lake without first paying a visit to Huff Spring. Cummings Lake sees pretty
high levels of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Mullens Creek, and camping
is available at Racoon Mountain Campground. A wonderful close by hotel is Chattanooga-Days Inn Tiftonia/Lookout Mountain. Not far from Cummings Lake, you'll hit upon Raccoon Mountain Pumped Station Reserve which is a beautiful
lake; on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Skyuka Trail. Russell Cave National Monument is a splendid national park; going for a hike along the Skyuka Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
